Overview

The Archangel Installer portal is your central tool for managing hardware deployments, routing schedules, and live gateway diagnostics. Your session is securely authenticated and will remain active for 7 days.

Dashboard Views

Use the blue toggle buttons on the top left of the screen to switch between primary data views.

Filtering & Searching Data

• Project Dropdown: Located on the right side of the toolbar. Use this to isolate your view to a specific deployment or council.
• Show Unscheduled: Visible on Routing view. An installer can toggle this switch to reveal properties that do not yet have a confirmed visit date.
• Search Bar: Type any address, sensor ID, or town into the table search bar to instantly filter the rows below.
• Exporting: Click the Excel, CSV, or PDF buttons to download a report of your currently filtered view.

Property Group & UPRN Management

• Getting Started: Click the + Property button in the top toolbar to open the Add to Archangel menu. Your target project will automatically inherit your current dashboard filter.
• Creating a Group: Select the Add Group tab. Enter a recognizable Group Name (e.g., "Leven North Zone") and assign it to a Parent Group. Clicking Create Group & Sync instantly generates the Archangel ID.
• Adding a Property (UPRN): Select the Add Property (UPRN) tab and choose the appropriate target group from the dropdown. Enter the Address Line 1 and Postcode.
• Tenant Details: First and Last Name fields are optional; if left blank, the system will automatically derive them from the address provided.
• Reference Data: Ensure you select the correct Tenure Type, Property Type, and Heating Type from the dropdown menus to maintain accurate database records.
• Syncing: Click Create UPRN & Sync to generate the new Archangel UPRN. The property will immediately appear in the existing properties list below and sync to the active project.

Field Operations & Installation

• Property Details: From the Routing or Health views, click on the Tools button on any property row to open its detailed management menu.
• Updating Visit Status: At the top of the property menu, use the toggle buttons to mark a visit as Pending, Completed, or Failed. If you deploy a gateway during the visit, toggle Indoor Gateway Installed and enter its EUI/MAC Address into the provided field.
• Hardware Installation: In the Sensor Management panel, select the New Install tab. Choose the Target Room from the dropdown, then manually type or use the Scan button to capture the new sensor's barcode/DevEUI. You can optionally snap a photo of the installation before clicking Install & Allocate.
• Hardware Swaps: In the Sensor Management panel, select the Hardware Swap tab. Choose the faulty sensor you are replacing from the dropdown list, scan or enter the new replacement sensor's barcode, optionally snap a photo, and click Execute Full Swap to securely provision the new device on the LNS.
• Battery Swaps: To record a battery replacement for an existing active sensor, locate it in the list and click the green [ SWAP ] button (with the battery icon). Select the replacement date from the calendar popup and click Save Event to log the maintenance.
• Live Verification (LNS Ping): After installing or swapping a sensor, scroll to the bottom of the property menu and click the blue Live LNS Ping button. This queries the network server in real-time to confirm the sensor is successfully connected and transmitting data.
• Offline Syncing: If you lose cellular connection, changes are saved locally. The top sync badge will spin until your connection is restored and data is safely uploaded.
